The Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) currently regulates the quality of all higher education in the UK and each year they undertake an annual monitoring visit of the college and every four years they conduct a major review of all aspects of our quality.
On the 2nd November, the QAA team visited the college and conducted a gruelling day of interviews with students and a range of staff to verify the level of progress that had been made in the past year. Later that month we received the draft report that concluded the College had made “Commendable progress with implementing the action plan” – this is the highest level of quality judgement the QAA can make.
In December, the QAA published the full report and Regent College London became one of only a small number of private providers to achieve the commendable rating. Principal, Katrina McCarthy, said, “We are delighted that the QAA team recognised the hard work and dedication of all our staff who contribute to our students’ experiences. The only way is up from here!
