Regent College London had the pleasure of hosting its first Careers & Employability event on the 24th February 2020. The college welcomed a group of key organisations in the industry such as: The Prince’s Trust, Transport For London, The NHS, Metropolitan Police and Brent Works from Brent Local Authority.
The careers open day was held at the Regent College Wembley Campus where a large number of students from all five campuses attended.
The expert representatives who attended provided students with high quality information and advice relating to career options, graduate programmes and job vacancies.
Students had the opportunity to interact with employers, gain an insight into the world of work and explore and discover different career pathways. It also provided students with information on the selection and hiring processes of companies.
This was a successful event that was organised by the Careers and Employability Specialist as part of Student Services, to help students with their careers and expand their professional network. Regent College London intends to organise many more similar events to support their students and build partnerships with industry employers.
