As the Dean of the School of Health and Sports Science at RCL, Dr Morris Anglin brings over 20 years of experience in public health and pharmacy in the USA to the role. He has a deep interest in environmental public health and social care, with his MSc and PhD research centred on environmental epidemiology.
Equipped with more than 15 years’ experience in the UK higher education sector, Morris has significantly developed the school’s portfolio since joining RCL in 2019, diversifying its programme portfolio through collaborations with the University of Bolton, Buckinghamshire University, St Mary’s University and Pearson’s awarding bodies.
Morris’ efforts focus on enhancing the school’s academic and professional reputation by promoting high-quality research in health and sports, scholarly activity through interdisciplinary research and professional practice among staff. Ensuring student satisfaction and continuous professional development for academic staff are among his top priorities.
Prior to joining RCL, Morris successfully led the Health and Social Care department at another private institution for five years. Dr. Anglin is also a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health.
