As Academic Registrar/Secretary to the Board at RCL, Aamena Hanif has enjoyed a dynamic and evolving career journey since joining the College in 2018. Within a year, she progressed from Executive Assistant to University Partnership Manager. In 2022, Aamena became Head of Partnerships before stepping into her current role in 2024.
Aamena’s responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operation of RCL’s partnership with four university partners, ensuring alignment with the College’s objectives. She is responsible for building, maintaining and coordinating effective working relationships between RCL and its university partners, including their respective academic teams and professional services departments.
Aamena oversees and supports the implementation of university regulations, policies and procedures within the College. She also coordinates the approval of RCL staff to deliver university-validated programmes, ensuring accurate and up-to-date staff records. Additionally, she organises validation events for programme and site approvals, collaborating with colleagues and university partners to prepare the necessary documentation.
Aamena holds a BEng Medical Engineering from Queen Mary University of London. Alongside her studies, she developed her professional skills through working with a number of charity organisations. Prior to joining Regent Group in October 2018, Aamena worked in the education sector for over five years, gaining extensive experience as a Personal/Executive Assistant.
