Regent College London (RCL) is pleased to announce its excellent performance in the 2023 National Student Survey (NSS). The results continue to demonstrate our commitment to providing our students with the academic skills and support to succeed.

The NSS is a reputable survey, nationally acknowledged, and offers students a platform to provide feedback on their university journey – from teaching and assessment to academic support and student satisfaction.

The NSS is carried out each year on behalf of the Office for Students (OfS), which surveys views on key areas of learning such as teaching experience, facilities and resources, learning opportunities and student representation.

Published by the Office for Students, the results reveal that 92% of RCL students would recommend the teaching quality of their courses. Notably, RCL students were consistently more positive than the student sector average across all seven question categories, including Teaching on My Course, Learning Opportunities, Assessment and Feedback, Academic Feedback, Academic Support, Organisation and Management, Learning Resources and Student Voice. The College scored an impressive 15% above the sector average for student representation.

A significant highlight from the survey was the Mental and Wellbeing Support Services at RCL, which received an 89.68% positive rating, against the sector average of 75.87%. Additionally, students ranked RCL nearly 5% above the sector in terms of Academic Support (88.14%) and Learning Opportunities (76.88%).

David Donnarumma, Provost of Regent College London, commented: “The insights from our students play a crucial role in guiding our future direction. The students graduating this year embarked on their academic journey during the difficulties posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, demonstrating incredible tenacity. I’d like to thank all our students and staff for their feedback and commitment. This feedback will help Regent to continuously improve.”
