Course Overview

Our LLB (Hons) Law with Foundation Year provides you with the fundamental knowledge needed to excel within the field of law.

The LLB (Hons) with Foundation Year is a qualifying law degree (QLD) which in turn allows you to continue move onto the next stage of training to enter the legal profession: The BPTC for barristers or the LPC/SQE for solicitors. This course will provide you with a solid foundation for whichever law profession you decide to pursue.

Entry Requirements

Standard entry requirements:

  • 48 UCAS points (or equivalent)
  • GCSE Maths grade C/4 and English grade C/4
  • IELTS score of 5.0 (no grade below 4.5)

Access qualifications:

  • 45 credits on your Access Course
  • IELTS score of 5.0 (no grade below 4.5)

Alternative assessment:

For mature students (those over 21 years old), or those requiring an alternative kind of assessment:

  • You must take part in an academic interview to demonstrate your non-academic achievements, such as work experience.
  • IELTS score of 5.0 (no grade below 4.5)
