Regent provides dedicated support for all students, ranging from academic advice to help developing study skills.

How we support you

Your Customer Service Officer (CSO) is your first point of contact for any questions, concerns, or help you need.

Regent runs a dedicated student support model that we call HubX. It allows us to support all students equally and to always respond quickly and effectively. Stay in contact with your CSO and the HubX system operates to support you fully throughout your studies with us.

Regent offers a full range of study options to suit everyone. When you start the new academic year, you will be interacting face-to-face with your teachers, students and support staff either in person, online while you are on campus yourself, or through the Regent Digital Services.

The delivery method of your course depends on several factors, with flexibility at the heart of our approach. You can choose from the following study options: 

  • Full-time in-person learning
  • Full-time distance learning
  • Part-time in-person learning
  • Part-time distance learning

Whichever study option you choose, we’ll support you every step of the way. 

Our core delivery options are accessible across PC and laptop devices. 

Timetables will depend on your own availability and course needs. If you are an international student on a study visa, you will need to attend all timetabled sessions in person. You will receive your timetable in advance of the semester starting. It will clearly show you what modules are in campus.

You will receive your individual timetable well in advance of the new academic year.

This depends on the programme you are studying. Please refer to your academic school and contact your CSO, or your ASO through HubX support system for more details.

In-person attendance is recorded via the SEAtS smartphone app, which uses Bluetooth to connect with beacons in your classroom. You need to be connected to the RCL Wi-Fi to use the SEAtS app. For more information about the SEAtS app, please visit the Student Web. 

Online attendance is recorded through an Attendance and Engagement Report. This is generated at the end of each session, detailing which students participated, how long they participated for and which email they used to participate.

Students are required to engage fully and have their cameras switched on throughout the online session. They musalso be in an appropriate environment. 

In addition to the support you receive from your teachers and tutors, the ASOs within HubX, and also the Academic Skills Support team, are available to provide one-to-one sessions. The team can also provide workshops where required, both in person and online.

Appointments can be booked online. These sessions are a space for you to discuss your progression, set up a submission plan, and agree on academic goals.
