Samira has worked in higher education for more than a decade both in the public and the private sector. Prior to joining Regent College London in capacity as Dean of Law, Samira was the Head of School of Law at Arden University.

Samira has previously worked as a practitioner in the civil service and her combined experience has led her to focus on embedding professional skills, and in enhancing equality, within legal education.

Samira holds the Executive position of Treasurer for the Committee of Heads of University Law Schools and has previously held the role of Chair of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee for the Society of Legal Scholars.
