Course overview

Our two-year HND in Business programme helps you prepare for a rewarding career, covering all the critical knowledge, understanding and practical skills required to work, progress and succeed in the business world.

The programme enables you to specialise in a business-related pathway aligned to your career ambitions, while also preparing you for progression to the final year of a bachelor’s degree (Level 6). It provides a strong foundation for both further study and direct entry into employment.

Throughout the course, you will develop the confidence and capability to take personal responsibility and make informed decisions in professional settings. You will learn to generate and apply your own ideas, analyse complex business challenges and evaluate practical solutions using both theory and real-world application.

By the end of the programme, you will have a solid understanding of the key principles within your chosen specialism and the ability to apply them effectively across a range of business contexts.

Applicants who have successfully completed and been awarded a BTEC Higher National Certificate may apply directly to Level 5 of the BTEC Higher National Diploma.
