Course Overview

Our four-year BSc (Hons) Computer Science with Foundation Year programme will help you gain the practical and problem-solving skills you will need to excel in this constantly evolving field.

This course is designed to develop an in-depth understanding of the theory, design and implementation of algorithms for manipulating data and information. You will gain a broad education in computer science, with a focus on problem-solving, developing solutions using software and managing the process of innovation.

Entry Requirements

  • You should have a minimum of two GCE A2-level passes (or equivalent).
  • You must also have five GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent), including Mathematics and English.
  • You may be required to attend an interview and/or provide a portfolio of work.
  • If English is not your first language, you will need to complete a Secure English Language Test at IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
