On Tuesday 14 April 2026, RCL’s School of Health and Sports Science (SoHSS) hosted an Employability Fair at our Fitzrovia Campus, bringing together students, staff and industry professionals for a day focused on career development and future opportunities.
The event was designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to stand out in a competitive job market, while also highlighting pathways for further study.

A dynamic programme
The day began with a Welcome Address from Dr Morris Anglin, Dean of Health and Sports Science, setting the tone for an engaging and informative event.
This was followed by an interactive Employability Skills Workshop led by Sonali Kakade and the Employability & Graduate Outcomes team. The session covered essential topics including CV writing, interview techniques and building a strong LinkedIn presence. Students were also introduced to alumni services and guided through the Career Connect portal, ensuring they have continued access to career support beyond graduation.

Insightful external speakers
We were pleased to welcome a range of external speakers who shared valuable industry insights and career advice. Vishul Seewoolall, CEO of MYND Coaching & Consultants and RCH Care Homes, delivered an inspiring talk, encouraging students to approach their careers with confidence and purpose.
Natasha Hudson and Thomas Wagaine from the UCL Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Careers Hub also provided practical guidance, offering a clear perspective on career pathways within the healthcare sector.
The event concluded with Amberlee Green, SoHSS Lecturer, and Dr Jo Lusher, Head of the Department of Psychology and Neurosciences, who highlighted opportunities for postgraduate study, including RCL’s MSc Psychology programme.

A team effort
The School of Health and Sports Science Employability Fair was a great success, thanks to the combined efforts of SoHSS staff, the Campus Operations team and the external speakers who generously gave their time.
Reflecting on the event, Dr Anglin commented:
“The School of Health and Sports Science Employability Fair was a great showcase of the opportunities available to students upon graduating. A huge thank you to everyone involved – especially Dr Caroline Reid, and Dr Eric Elong Ebolo and Dr Beloved Masava for leading and organising this excellent initiative.”
