As Director of Data Intelligence and UKVI Compliance at RCL, he leads enterprise-wide initiatives that harness data as a strategic asset to support decision-making, regulatory integrity and sustainable institutional growth.
Ayaz specialises in developing and executing data strategies that align technology, governance and analytics with organisational objectives. His work focuses on building scalable data ecosystems, modernising data architectures and embedding governance frameworks that ensure accuracy, accountability and compliance.
Through initiatives involving advanced analytics, Microsoft Fabric and modern Lakehouse architectures, he has helped organisations transform fragmented data environments into trusted, insight-driven platforms that enable more effective leadership and operational efficiency.
A strong advocate for responsible AI adoption and data-driven culture, Ayaz is particularly interested in how emerging technologies such as generative AI can be leveraged responsibly to enhance insight, improve operational performance and create long-term strategic value.
Ayaz holds an MBA in Project Management from the University of Sunderland and a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership. He is also a Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate and continues to expand his expertise through executive education in data strategy, governance, AI strategy and leadership development.
