UK Exit from EU

Dear Student,

Thank you for visiting our website to find out more about admission to Regent College London.

I appreciate that this may be an uncertain time for you as we approach the date (31 January 2020) when the UK will leave the EU.

I am writing to reassure you about what the UK Government has already agreed in case you have any concerns in making an application to study at Regent College London.
EU nationals who already live in the UK can apply to the EU Settlement Scheme to continue living in the UK. The application deadline is 30 June 2021. Further details about the EU Settlement Scheme can be found here.

During the transition period – which runs until the end of 2020 – the UK will still follow all the EU’s rules and regulations. This means everything will remain the same during that period and you can continue to travel as you do now.

There will be no change to the tuition fee status of current EU students attending UK universities, even if your future course at Regent College London finishes after the UK leaves the EU.

Eligibility requirements for current EU students to receive loans and/or grants to fund their studies for the full duration of their course remains unchanged.

We will continue to keep our website updated so that prospective students may make an informed choice.

The UK Government’s Brexit checker tool will also help you to plan for what you may need to do, and further advice is available on their website.

Please contact the Student Recruitment Team on 02038706666 if you have any queries in the meantime.

Best wishes,
Dr Selva Pankaj
