20th March 2020

Further to continuing developments and restrictions caused by the Covid-19 outbreak, Regent College London has decided to move to a blended learning model through Regent Digital Services with effect from Monday 23rd March 2020. This means that, for the immediate future, there is no requirement for students to come into the College after classes on Thursday 19th. There will be no classes on Friday 20th or Saturday 21st.
From Monday 23rd, classes will take place as timetabled but will be delivered digitally through a mix of lectures, individual and group activities, and independent learning. Please note, students will be required to set this time aside to access these classes and activities without distraction. Attendance and engagement will be monitored and recorded as normal and the regulations covering this remain in place.

Full details of how this delivery will take place and how to engage with the relevant digital platform will be emailed to all students.

In the event that you have difficulty accessing the online platform, please contact the Registry team and they will walk you through the steps to continue. Please note, difficulty logging on is not considered a valid reason for non-attendance.

Student Support will remain available via Microsoft Teams, telephone and email. In the event that you do become ill and are not able to engage, please contact Student Support as usual.

Student Support contacts:

All our physical campuses will be closed but digital delivery has now commenced and staff remain contactable in all other ways: via email, telephone, or Microsoft Teams. Should you need to contact a member of academic staff either email them or contact Student Support who will help.

The College will continue to monitor the situation and take advice from the Departments for Education, and Health, and the Office for Students to ensure that we can provide the best possible learning environment at this time.

We understand that this is a new way of working for all involved and thank you for understanding at this transitional time. Please take care of your health, make the most of the opportunities to study and we look forward to continue engaging with you.
