1st December - Care Campaign for the Vulnerable
Jayne Connery is the Director of the Care Campaign for the Vulnerable (CCFTV) which she founded after a loved one suffered serious failings in their care. Not dissuaded that the sector had incredible care professionals, she launched a social media initiative which eventually grew to a successful, not-for-profit, national safety in elderly care organisation.
The organisation works with the care sector to promote the benefits to adopting safety monitoring in all care environments for vulnerable residents and staff. Through this work CCFTV is contacted by families and care workers seeking their help and advice.
In this talk Jayne discussed her journey to setting up the organisation and the work CCFTV does for safety in elderly care.

Vanessa’s career has since expanded from self-employment to employment within the fitness, leisure and beauty industry. Today, she is a mentor to post-16 students and has worked within the post-16 education sector for the last four years.
