As Dean of the Graduate School of Business at RCL, Sandhya Thirunagari is focused on shaping the future of the School, with a strong emphasis on student experience, academic standards and successful student outcomes.
Since joining RCL in 2018, Sandhya has progressed through a range of roles and responsibilities, building extensive experience and taking on increasing leadership responsibilities across the College.
Sandhya’s leadership approach is collaborative and student-centred. She is passionate about translating strategic priorities into meaningful improvements in teaching, learning and assessment, as well as enhancing the overall postgraduate student experience. She is also committed to strengthening scholarly activity and research-informed teaching across RCL’s postgraduate programmes while fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Continuous improvement is central to Sandhya’s approach, particularly in academic quality, staff development and strengthening the connection between management education and industry practice. She is keen to develop closer partnerships with local businesses and employers, creating further opportunities for collaboration, industry engagement and work-related learning.
Sandhya’s research interests include academic and corporate leadership, the evolving relationship between leadership and AI, digital transformation in marketing and human resource management.
