Muhammad Ahsan Habib Bhuiyan

Mr Bhuiyan is an undergraduate Programme Leader and possesses MSC in International Business from Brunel University, London, and Diploma in Education and Training from New City College, London. He has 12 years of experience in the higher education sector. Besides his teaching career, he used to work as a company accountant and accounts manager in various companies in the UK. He joined Regent College London in 2018 as an Associate Lecturer and has also worked alongside senior management to grow the School of Business & Enterprise and expand the courses on offer. Mr Bhuiyan has extensive knowledge and experience in programme development and management. He is a Certified assessor and has strong experience in delivering both remote and hybrid learning courses. His teaching philosophy is driven by a genuine passion to provide students with an interactive, dialogical and real-life view of theory and challenge their existing views and stimulate their critical thinking. Alongside teaching, Bhuiyan has worked as an Assessor of vocational courses and Internal quality assurance manager of different higher education institutions.

Mr. Bhuiyan has a variety of research interests, including consumer behaviour in cross-culture dimensions, globalisation, and international marketing and business strategy. He has a particular interest in the current green business policy and its effects on global SMEs. Mr. Bhuiyan has done a thesis on consumer behaviour in e-commerce during postgraduate studies and contributed to many publications along with different colleagues. Currently preparing a research proposal for pursuing a Ph.D. programme to accelerate the professional boundary. He is also participating and contributing thoughts to different research activities organised by Regent college and other UK institutions.

Introduction to business studies: The module discusses the basics of all business terminologies including the types and nature of business, different business functions, market economy, HRM, marketing and accounting and finance etc. It helps students to gain basic knowledge and understanding of the world of business.

Principle of Marketing: This module covers the role of marketing in business functions and how organisations designed their marketing strategy by considering the marketing mix. It helps students to learn the importance of marketing in business and how companies produce and develop products by considering the market environment.

Global Business Environment: It covers the international business strategy, entry strategies in different countries, and multinational business operations in different cultures.
