Dr. Victor Mah

Dr. Victor Mah has held posts in Higher Education teaching since 2014. He started as an associate lecturer and went on to hold a full-time lecturing post after completing a PhD degree in 2016. He obtained a PhD degree in Social Enterprise Management and Sustainability at the school of management at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Dr. Victor Mah is currently a lecturer and module leader of Business Management studies at Waltham Business School, an associate college of Leeds Trinity University in England. Apart from teaching Entrepreneurship, Academic Skills and supervising dissertations, he has published academic articles and is the author of an almost completed book “Writing a Research Proposal for Higher Education Studies: A practical handbook for beginners.” I have also worked as a teacher, trainer, and mentor.

As a dissertation lecturer and academic skills and studying with confidence tutor at Waltham International College, he has had many responsibilities and achievements that would serve him well as a dissertation supervisor at Arden University. During this lockdown, he successfully supervised dissertations of over 57 students from both the health & social care and business management specialties, and achieve more than 89% submission rate. He is sure that he could garner similar results at Arden University. His passion for supporting and preparing students to access the Higher Education via the Foundation level has motivated him to complete a teaching qualification (QTLS) in ICT and Academic Skills Development. In his current role as an Academic Skills and Studying with Confidence lecturer and module leader, he is tutoring students in the foundation year from both Health & Social Care and Business Management cohorts.
