Dr. Ahmmed Khondokar Farid

Khondokar Ahmmed is a lecturer on business and management business and holds a PhD in entrepreneurship and small business. Khondokar taught the University of Gloucestershire, UK. He joined Regent College London in 2018 as a lecturer. Khondokar has extensive experience in curriculum development, is a Certified Online Instructor (2015), and has strong experience in the delivery of both online and hybrid modules. His teaching philosophy is driven by a genuine passion to provide students with an interactive, dialogical, and real-life view of theory and challenge their existing views and stimulate their critical thinking

Khondokar’s research interests include entrepreneurship and small business in both developing country and developed country (UK) contexts. His intention is to develop entrepreneurship (learning intention, strategic entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurial eco-system development. He is now engaged in research and publication. He is a member of the advisory team of the books below:

May 2022 [E-book] He is in line to publish some articles in a high-impact journal (AMJ; ISBJ) focusing on developing a social entrepreneurial ecosystem in young small firms’ owner-managers in Bangladesh and in the UK in order to utilize social capital for entrepreneurship development. As part of his research engagement, he achieved the best paper award at a London conference in 2016 and achieved the best teacher award in some other institutions in London. He is working as a social entrepreneur as a director of Save the Village in Bangladesh. He is interested in research and scholarship activities.
