Azad is the Chief Operations Officer at Regent College bringing a wealth of experience from a diverse career spanning from cinema management, data analysis, and higher education.

Azad began his professional journey as a cinema manager before transitioning to a data analyst role, where he developed a keen eye for detail and operational efficiency. Azad’s move into higher education saw a rapid progression student engagement officer to learner services manager demonstrating a strong commitment to student support and institutional excellence. Joining Regent college in May 2023 as Campus Manager Azad quickly advanced to Chief Operations Officer where he now leads five teams and over 150 staff across five UK campuses as well as teams in India.

In this Role Azad is responsible for Student support, employability, wellbeing, student experience, and overall campus operations. Azad is known for driving strategic planning and delivering cross functional projects that enhance the student experience, operations, and effectiveness.

Azad’s management style in centred on empowering teams to thrive, by fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment. Azad inspires staff to take ownership of their work and encourages open communications motivating them to deliver high quality results and embrace continuous improvement driving both individual and collective success at Regent College.
