Professor Sally-Ann Burnett

Professor Sally-Ann Burnett joins Regent College, as Provost / Chief Academic Officer, from BPP where she was Deputy Vice-Chancellor for five years. She was a Consultant in Higher Education when she joined BPP in 2012 and was appointed Deputy Vice-Chancellor in 2017. Sally-Ann holds a degree and a PhD from Cardiff University, a DBA in Higher Education Management from the University of Bath and a teaching qualification from Manchester Metropolitan University. She also has international experience as a Higher Education consultant and has worked with many universities in the UK, Ireland, India and Canada. She is a Professor of Higher Education Leadership.
Sally-Ann began her working life in the food and drink industry before moving into Higher Education in 1995. In her early career she was a Principal Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University before being promoted to Director of the Centre for Enterprise at Canterbury Christ Church University. In 2008 she led the opening of a brand new campus for Lakehead University in Ontario, Canada.
