Director of Partnerships
Following 16 years working in industry and running my own business, Nicolas started lecturing at Staffordshire University in 2008. He lectured in Business and Computing and specialised in Information Systems and Knowledge Management. After 8 years as a senior lecturer, teaching from foundation years to master’s level, he became the academic group leader for the Information Systems programme area, managing a portfolio of courses in Computing Science, Business IT and Big Data. During his time at Staffordshire University, Nicolas quickly became involved with supporting the overseas partners in Malaysia and Oman as a link tutor; as he enjoyed the role, he was promoted to Partnerships Manager in 2016 looking after China, the Middle East, India, the US and Africa.
Nicolas joined an international higher education institution as an Academic Development Manager in July 2017 supporting the company’s centres in Asia, the Middle East and Europe then moved to the University of Wolverhampton the following year, where he became the Head of UK Partnerships developing links with local schools and colleges through progression agreements and franchising courses.
His last appointment was to NCUK in 2019 as an Associate Director for Academic Support and Development supporting Study Centres with teaching and learning requirements in our America, Middle East, African, South Asia and European regions.
