What he likes most about teaching is seeing the “light bulb” go off for a non-traditional student. For non-traditional students especially coming back to education it may be developing academic and interpersonal skills to overcoming their fear of public speaking and delivering a successful speech. For students who have been struggling academically, it might be achieving a grade because you know as non-traditional students, the sacrifices they have made and how they have worked hard to achieve their grades so that they can either gain achieve their dream. All of these light bulb moments are special and motivates him to keep teaching.
