MD Abul Kalam is an acknowledged CIMA and MBA qualified expert with more than 10 years of teaching and management experience in UK Higher Education sector. His main teaching areas include Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Corporate Finance, International Financial Management, Corporate Governance and Accountability, Marketing management, Strategic Management, Human Resources Management, Research Methods, along with Supervising Dissertations students at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Level.
He is an experienced dedicated programme delivery professional, able to deliver university systems, culture change and process improvements, while managing stakeholders and the internal and external reputation of the programme by taking the student experience at the heart of this work in order to drive forward positive change within the University and will underpin the core of the role.
He is skilled at assessing development requirements, designing, preparing and delivering effective educational programmes to meet both individual and establishment goals and objectives, and monitoring outcomes accordingly.
He always demonstrates a patient and understanding approach to helping others gaining improvements in their abilities, attaining personal goals and achievements. His key strength areas include syllabus construction, oral and written teaching, training, educational development, coaching and mentoring, one to one tutoring, accounts preparation, VAT returns, Self-Assessment, Book Keeping etc.
His research interests include sustainable finance in the digital disruption age along with inclusive teaching and learning pedagogy. Some research articles are published, and some are under review.
