Fariha started her teaching career in the United Kingdom in 2002 teaching Business and Accounting to Lower Sixth students at West Thames College. Fariha has a Masters in Business Administration and acquired her teaching qualifications in higher education while teaching at the West Thames College.
She then moved on to work in the field of healthcare while working on a project with the Department of Health supervised by Radar across West London Boroughs Harrow, Hillingdon, Brent, Barnet and Hammersmith and Fullham. She is a qualified health trainer (level 3) and has a Level 3 in health and social care. She has worked in the health care sector for 7 years on various projects with the NHS and other providers.
She joined Regent in 2013 as a sixth form lecturer and since last year has joined the HND team in teaching business courses.
In addition to her current role, she also teaches in other colleges business and economics courses. Fariha has a diverse skill set and is currently the General Secretary of the UK Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a platform encouraging business development across the two countries. She has worked in other countries including Pakistan with prestigious organisations including the United Nations and ICI (British MNC). She brings in a vast experience into the classroom and makes learning interesting for her students.
