About me

Devon is a computing and Information systems academic manager with over twenty years experience in designing and delivering innovative programmes both within the public and private educational sectors. He has managed numerous teams delivering foundation to postgraduate computing and business information systems programmes of studies and mentored both teaching fellows and new graduates to become effective educational communicators and lecturers.

Devon has a proven track record of identifying staff potential and developing that potential into confident and experienced communicators who are able to adapt to the students they are communicating with. He has identified area for improvement, developed polices to meet challenging needs and requirements and increased student and staff awareness resulting in improved student and staff satisfaction and performance.

Key responsibilities

As Director of Studies Devon’s key role is to ensure the quality and standards of the Computing and Software engineering programmes offered by Regent College London adhere to the nationally recognised standards of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA HE). He manages the design, development and delivery of the Foundation and undergraduate programmes offered to the students via the collaborative partnership with the University of Bolton, to meet the expected criteria of a modern programme of study.
