Dr Anna Wharton
Anna has a decade of experience teaching children, young people and adults in both formal and informal education settings. Several of these years were spent teaching ESOL in international schools in South America before returning to higher education to complete a PhD in International Education and Development. Anna has additional experience in the sector advising students new to higher education around both academic skills and higher education structures. She also has a diverse range of experiences across multiple stages of research, having worked on projects around education, migration, refugees, children and young people, and experiences of belonging and learning.
Anna needs her morning coffee and has recently taken up cross-stitching.
