Modular Acceleration Programme (MAP) Skills for Life

Are you looking to upskill or retrain in Engineering or Digital Technologies, but are not ready to commit to studying a full course?

Regent College London is delighted to offer the Modular Acceleration Programme (MAP) from February 2025.

This tuition-free opportunity* will enable participants to build credits towards a Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ). HTQs are practical and skills-based courses developed in collaboration with employers, they include level 4 Higher National Certificates (HNC) and level 5 Higher National Diplomas (HND).

You can choose from four 30-credit HTQ modules spanning Engineering and Digital Technologies and develop practical skills which directly enhance employability.

Who can apply?

This programme is open to anyone:

- aged between 19 and 60.
- Residents of England (further Conditions may apply – please check eligibility when registering your interest).

Progression

The MAP programme allows you to gain credits at your own pace and gives you the option of transferring into and completing a full HTQ, should you choose to do so.

All participants will receive access to RCL’s robust student support ecosystem. Our dedicated team are on hand to provide impartial advice and improve your educational experience – from study skills to mental health and wellbeing.

What modules are available?

There are four modules to choose from – spanning Engineering and Digital Technologies subjects from our HND programmes. Each module is made up of two units and you must take both units to qualify for free-of-charge tuition.
