Course Overview

This LLM Law course will provide you with a flexible postgraduate degree, where you will gain specialist legal knowledge which you can use to advise or manage businesses and organisations globally.

Although this is not a qualifying law degree, it can be a stepping stone towards a career combining Business and Law by allowing you to gain the analytical and research skills, and the expert subject knowledge required for many employment opportunities.

This course offers many flexible study options, meaning you can choose which style of learning suits your lifestyle better, whether that’s at weekends, evenings, or during the daytime. Unlike many other Law degrees, this course is taught in small group sizes, giving you the individual attention and support needed for success. Alongside the course, we are pleased to offer all of our students the chance to learn about RCL’s unique Personal, Leadership, and Growth programme called Thinking Into Character, which is designed to teach you how to manage and lead yourself effectively in order to be successful in all aspects of your personal and professional life.

Entry Requirements

Standard Academic entry requirements:

  • Lower second-class honours degree (2.2) in law or another
    relevant subject

 Non-standard applicant requirements:

  • IELTS 7.0 with normally no less than 6.5 in any band (or
    equivalent)

 

 

Alternative assessment:

For mature students (those over 21 years old), or those requiring an alternative kind of assessment:

  • You must take part in an academic interview to demonstrate your non-academic achievements, such as work experience.
